Support Lakewood Theater

Our $150,000 Capital Campaign

Every summer the doors of Lakewood Theater are flung open and a world of laughter, music and drama awaits you. This year is Lakewood Theater’s 115th season and we need your help. Mounting nine main stage productions, six weeks of Young Performers Camp, and maintaining and restoring buildings on campus is a big, big job and we can’t do it without you!

Lakewood Theater is launching a 2015 Capital Campaign to raise the finances necessary to set the theater firmly in the black for the next decade. Our goal is $150,000 which will be raised from grants, corporations, the local business community and individual donations. Your help is crucial in meeting this goal and every dollar counts.

  • Your gift allows us to continue teaching theater arts to area children.
  • Your gift helps us renovate and restore our beautiful, historic buildings.
  • Your donation helps purchase energy efficient theatrical lighting fixtures.
  • Your gift will ensure Lakewood’s place in the cultural fabric of Maine.

Lakewood Theater cannot exist without the generous help of our sponsors and donors and we thank all of you that have always generously supported this historic cultural institution. Our mission of producing quality live theater, teaching theater craft to children and establishing a love of arts in our Maine community can only be accomplished with your gift.

You may donate with a credit card by phone, by visiting our website and using PayPal, or by mailing a check. Whatever you decide, please know that we are sincerely grateful that you have selected Lakewood Theater as a cause worthy of your support.
